Boatsitters provides structured boat monitoring and on-demand response services throughout the Lowcountry.
From Beaufort to Georgetown, we service vessels located at marinas, dry stacks, storage yards, private docks, residential lifts, driveways, private islands, and service yards. If access is permitted, we can service your boat.

We use Salty Hull, a top-rated salt removal treatment that breaks down salt buildup across your vessel without damaging wax, vinyl, canvas, or glass. Consistent use helps extend the life of your boat’s materials and prevent long-term damage.
After every visit, you receive a full report with photos and notes.

Alarm Response
If your bilge or battery alarm is triggered, we respond on your behalf and assess the vessel in person. We perform a visual inspection, verify system status, and report findings with documentation.
In most locations, we can arrive within approximately two hours of alert.

Storm Preparation & Reinstallation
We prepare your vessel ahead of severe weather and restore it afterward.
Pre-storm services may include removing and securing canvas, vinyl, cushions, and isinglass. Post-storm services include reinstalling and visually inspecting for any immediate concerns.

Boat-Ready Arrival Prep
Arriving in town? We ensure your boat is clean, uncovered, and ready for immediate use.
Services may include:
• Reinstalling stored cushions
• Salt removal treatment using Salty Hull
• Removal of debris or bird droppings
• Animal intrusion check
We help ensure your vessel meets key Coast Guard safety requirements and is ready for use. Final compliance remains the responsibility of the vessel’s captain.

Marine Concierge Services
Need supplies or marine-related items before arrival? We can locate, retrieve, and coordinate requested products on your behalf — from provisions to specialty marine equipment.
All products must be paid for upfront.
Pricing varies depending on request complexity and coordination time.
Protectant Treatments
Extend the life of your vessel’s exterior materials.
• Full Salt-Away treatment: $150
• Fabric protection treatment: $100 per visit
One-Time On-Site Visit
For situations outside of membership coverage.
Ideal for out-of-town owners who want eyes on their boat without committing to ongoing service.
We provide a single, on-site visit to check vessel condition, retrieve items, document concerns, or secure equipment as needed.
In many cases, we can reach vessels within a few hours in Charleston and typically within 3–4 hours for surrounding areas.
Charleston Area: $100
Outside Charleston Area: $175
Minor Repairs & Replacements
We can assist with small service needs such as:
• Battery replacement
• Line replacement
• Minor hardware repairs
All materials and parts must be paid upfront by the client.
Vendor & Captain Coordination
We coordinate trusted marine professionals on your behalf, so you don’t have to manage logistics from a distance.
• Vendor Coordination – Scheduling and overseeing service providers such as mechanics, detailers, or marina technicians.
$25 minimum surcharge
• Captain Pairing – We connect you with qualified captains based on your needs.
Fees determined by captain.
• Fuel Coordination – We arrange fueling services and coordinate timing and access.
Surcharge applied based on logistics.
Emergency Response Services
For urgent situations requiring hands-on support.
Services may include:
• Emergency visual inspections
• On-site coordination
Starts at $150. Additional time billed based on scope (~$100/hour after first hour)
Cabin Preparation Service
Eliminate musty air and moisture buildup before arrival.
• Ozone treatment (24 hours)
• Cabin airing and ventilation
• Optional dehumidifier setup

Engine Flush Service
Protect your engines and extend their lifespan with a proper freshwater flush after use.
We flush each outboard engine using Salt Away (Salty Hull) to remove salt buildup and prevent corrosion, helping maintain performance and reliability over time.
Requires 24-hour notice
$150 for one engine
$250 for two engines
$350 for three engines
(Additional engines priced accordingly.)
Post-Use Boat Cleanup
After a day on the water, we handle the cleanup so you don’t have to.
This service includes a light wash using soap and water, trash removal, and a full spray-down with Salt Away (Salty Hull) to protect against salt buildup and keep your boat in good condition between uses.
Ideal for keeping your vessel clean without the need for a full detail.

On-Board Pest Control
Keep your vessel free from unwanted pests with targeted marine-safe treatment. We apply a protective barrier using Termidor® SC to help prevent ants, roaches, and harmful spiders—including brown recluse and black widows—from nesting on or around your boat.
$185 per visit

Trailer Inspection
Before you tow, make sure everything is ready to go. We inspect trailer lights, straps, and grease points, along with tire condition and pressure—helping prevent issues before they happen.
$175 per inspection
